TOMMFest 2011What a great weekend! Loughborough Lake Holiday Park was rocking on Friday and Saturday nights with dancing, singing and standing ovations! More and more people are learning that this festival would not happen if John and Judy Osborne had taken a different path when they lost their beautiful Tristin. The Osborne's could have chosen a path that could have changed someone's life because of a mistake made but instead chose the path that truly benefits another. Their kind souls and loving hearts make it possible for their daughter's wish to keep coming true. Tristin wanted to become a teacher to help other learning disabled students who are persuing post-secondary education find their way. All the people that support TOMMFest are helping as well because all proceeds go toward a scholarship for this purpose. By making the festival free this year we have unfortunately come up short and have ended up in the hole. If you can find it in your hearts to help us out even though the last song has been sung, please contact us. We don't want this scholarship to end. Thanks to The Osborne family who work so hard to keep Tristin's dream alive, to all the volunteers and sponsors, and to the people who care. |
